RETURN POLICY

1. DerChef will accept, for return or exchange, items that are in new condition and free of damages by the customer. For a full refund or exchange, bring in your item within 30 calendar days from the receipt of the original date. Items cannot be returned or exchanged after 30 calendar days from the date they are picked up. For a full refund, items must be unopened in their original packaging. We will charge a restocking fee up to 25% of the purchasing price if the return or exchange item is opened. 

2. All rangehood products come with 5 YEARS limited warranty, except the light bulb, oil cup and filter. The motor comes with life-time warranty (Free labor for the first year after purchase). Please keep this invoice for any repair or warranty services. 

3. All others products such as ranges, cooktops, dishwasher, oven, steam combi oven, etc come with 2 YEARS parts warranty and 1 YEAR labor warranty.

4. All rights are reserved by DerChef Appliances Co. Ltd.

5. All appliances come with electrical plug. The electrical plug is part of the appliances, It can not be cut or disconnect from the appliances. Any cut or disconnected plug from appliances will result discontinue of the warranty.

DerChef is offering 5 YEARS limited warranty on products, first year free labour. not including filter/oil cup/LED lamp. The motor comes with life-time warranty.

INSTALLATION SERVICE

DerChef provides installation service within GTA.

 

Price applicable for GTA area only.

Dechef range hood installation - CAD $170.00

Remove existing equipment, install DerChef equipment and parts. Install 15a receptacle outlet as needed.

Install vent pipe reducer - CAD $20.00

4 to 6, 6 to 8 duct reducer.

Install range hood on quartz or marble backsplash - CAD $30.00

Replace existing exhaust hood fan cover - CAD $60.00

Including exterior exhaust vent cover.

Increase ventilation pipe size from outside wall - CAD $120.00

4 to 6, duct reducer. Including exterior exhaust vent cover.

(within 10ft high) - CAD $180.00

6 to 8 duct reducer. Including exterior exhaust vent cover.

Drill through the outside wall and install a new exhaust vent pipe - CAD $250.00

Enlarge exterior duct vent from 4’’ to 6’’.Including exterior exhaust vent cover.

(within 10ft high) - CAD $320.00

Including exterior exhaust vent cover.

 

Relocate or extend the original vent pipe. Use sheeting metal to replace original vent pipe - Price will be provided upon evaluation.

Custom make stainless steel backsplash installation - Price will be provided upon evaluation.

Install range hood in a canopy style cabinet or special area - Start at CAD $450

The intime is longer and much more difficult. The actual installation may affect the price.

Install range hood on top of kitchen island cabinet. -Start at CAD $600

Long Distance Fees

Within 20KMs from the showroom - No long distance fees.

Between 20 to 30KMs from the showroom - CAD $20.00

Between 30 to 40KMs from the showroom - CAD $30.00

Between 40 to 50KMs from the showroom - CAD $40.00

Between 50 to 60KMs from the showroom - CAD $50.00

Other places - Price will be provided upon evaluation.

 

We provide a 1 year installation labour warranty.
